Yet another in a growing list of situations in which crime appears to pay- or, it is clearly worth the risks involved.
IP owners have another aspect of commercialization that must be continually addressed on a corporate level.

  1. Counterfeit parts has been a big issue in the airline industry for decades. There are a huge number of issues, including many health and safety.
    Even Gucci and toys have issues. The lead-based toys in some knock-offs pose a health issue.
    When you guy pirated software, intentionally, you probably do deserve the viruses and snoopware that come with it (although it is unclear if friends and family do as well).:-(
